Seems like the moment to take up more space, has been imminent. Like an unavoidable bandage that’s been on too long, like many, I’ve borrowed an ancestral hesitation so that I could refine. Refine my tools for sifting. Sharpen dulled edges and to remind myself that I am a many self. Myriads, as they say. And one of the cards the proverbial dealer of Life keeps dealing onto the tableau of my making is a suit in the deck of eternity that I have kept near and dear to me

This writing thing, man

My love affair with voice, affect, drama, and the sheer production that is eternity really knows no bounds. It has no limits, this primordial adoration of mine.

And I want to share that, here.

I’ll be posting a link below that contains two poems that I posted on my Substack. Each poem is a divination of the moment. Which moment? As of right now, they are monthly. As of right now, they are, as I wrote earlier, on Substack. As of right now? That is more than likely going to change.

I desire to stay true. Not only to myself and the self this current iteration of myself is nurturing, but the me tomorrow and the me that came before. And that commitment to Truth is also weighted with as much ebb and flow as the moment, itself.

And the moment inside this intrepid body, right now? Is one of many currents; water that folds backwards and forward in and through time, to draw near the Warmth of Recognition.

This self honors the moments outside of benefic carving; even if it’s a little crazed and immediate. This self giggles and flirts with passion. It recognizes yearning and elevates its status.

It winces at childhood abandon and hesitates to join in on the fun (and does so, anyway). It’s attentive. It is a self that is both a steady hand, leading;

and breathing into the back of the spine: receiving.

And that is the shelf of selves I hope to capture with each audio divination: be it the texture of incoming energies, or forgotten features of a wishful past - I narrate Life’s heartbeat and I am glad to have you along the journey.
