After being crushed under the weight of oppression for 400+ years how dare you look down on black folks for finding ways to enjoy their lives and continue to strive on. The way we persevere and create art out of our struggles makes them uncomfortable. Yet the same art that we create is stolen and commercialised for white profit. White artists will try to extract the black pain from the origin and tweet shit like “all lives matter” while making millions off a black sound. How dare you?
